Are you interested in starting or continuing your studies? Bochum is home to a variety of universities offering a broad range of degree programs. The seven higher education institutions within the city are state-approved. While most of the courses are taught in German, some programs are available in English language. General admissions requirements include (but are not limited to)

• an entrance qualification for higher education institutions in the Federal Republic of Germany
• and proof of language proficiency either in German and/ or English language.

Please note that requirements may vary, therefore it is essential that you seek individual advice at the university.
